Title: Phy Traps
Summary: Special JVS Content For Setting Traps
Submitted By: phydeoux

Description: What's this? New JVS Content? But there aren't ANY doors? Then what is it?

IT'S A TRAP!(pack)

Yup, a brand new pack of JVS Content in trap-form. There is only just a few here, and only 1 new sound introduced. However since this is a young add-on it is sure to eventually grow and have new things added in later. But what we DO have are the following;

-Bear Traps: For catching all those unreleased bears, and crunching those tiny unreleased bunnies! Very simple standard traps that lay on the ground. Stepping on them is not advised, so set them off with an arrow instead. Once you walk past the trap it is suggested that you click the trap to reset it, just in case you're being followed.

-Pressure Plates: Technically not traps, but they fit in with the whole theme. These are thin plates made to look like any normal 4x4x1 plate, however a trained eye will be able to spot these out and avoid stepping on them. (Comes in studded and smoothed flavors)

-Spike Traps: Harmless at first, but notice those gray things poking out of those holes? Well if activated, those gray things quickly poke out into your brains as very harmful spikes! How exciting! (Has three types available; Floor, Wall, and Ceiling)

-Saw Blade: Ever wanted a conveyor belt carry an endless stream of nooblets to a terrible, bloody, slice-riffic doom? Well this can help you accomplish that! Simply use the blade's axis brick for placement, connect a switch, turn it on, and this giant circular saw will start spinning immediately. While spinning the blade will deal a gruesome fate to any and all who touch it.

Q&A:

Q:I'm clicking the spike traps/saw blades and nothing is happening?!
A:These don't have an onActivate->ContentStart event when planted. Event a switch to do this for you.

Q:I want a slow crushing wall trap!
A:This is a good idea, but it wouldn't work well. JVS content doesn't push things, it simply has collisions that disappear while an animation plays.

Q:I want a drawbridge for your medieval pack!
A:Again, won't really work for JVS.

Q:Shouldn't the trap door be here, since it's a trap door, and the pressure plates be somewhere else?
A:People don't like if I move things around too much and the pressure plates fit the theme of the pack.

Trick: Turn rendering on for the spike traps so you can't see the spikes! It's perfect for fortresses or mansions! Or a mansion-like fortress! Or a fortress-like mansion!

Can you make Horizontal Spike traps that spin. those would be good for trying to remake Ravenholm from Half-Life 2 (if you havent played HL2. there is an area in the game called Ravenholm and this guy set up Spike traps that cut the zombies infesting the town in half)
