Finally. I could use a brown Hex code once in a while instead of putting in a random hex code and seeing the Product that comes out

The 6 digit code is the hexidecimal code for all the possible color combinations. Hex is made up of the numbers 0 to 9 and letters a to f and is where we get the whole 16bit from as there are 16 possible combinations vice a simple numeric number. The color for white is ff and the color for black is 00. So why are there 6 numbers? For the 3 primary colors (to a computer). Red green and blue (see the RTB logo). So FF0000 broken out as FF (bright red) 00 (no green) and 00 (no blue) gives you a bright red

I'll try this, but for some reason whenever I try to put in a color code other than white, yellow, or black, it shows up as black :(

You should also be able to enter a (valid) paint color ID for that one's hex code.

Seems useful for chat/print events and stuff.
