Title: Events Set - Saving Variables
Summary: Saves and loads any variables.
Authors: Truce

Description: This is an expansion to the Variable/Conditional events created by Destiny and Chrono. It allows for saving and loading player and client variables to a .txt file located in your "config/server" folder. If you know what you're doing, you can change where these variables are saved to if you need to by looking in the script and editing $VSF::Path.

Please note that all of the variables will be saved to a single .txt, so you will NOT have a load of files spamming up your folder.

To save or load a variable, click on the Client option in the wrench events menu. You should see both saveVariable and loadVariable on the list. (Yes, they're output events.) Click the one you want and type in the name of the variable, and bam, it saves or loads.

TELEFATGUY, that is not what this does. It saves variables, not items. The variables go with Variable and Conditional events. Also to mention that this is broken anyways.

Does this actually work, and if so, it only saves for each person right? Not everyone who uses it?

If you look in the txt file that it makes it saves blid player/client and the name of the Variable but not the value.

Truce, this doesent work atall. If you test it with player events (onactivate>player>VCE-Modvariable>Test>add>6). Then you put a display brick in, THEN you use the event to save the variable. after that you comit suicide use a brick to load the variable click the display brick again and it doesent show up.

This addon makes my blockland freeze instantly upon the menu window appearing.

Please fix it. People nag me to put this in my servers (and I don't blame them) but I obviously can't host with it crashing.

Please, please fix it.

How does this work? Does it save vars for if someone leaves the game they can reload? How would I make them save?

Does this work with version 5 of variables? Also, in the next version, could you add support for saving and loading multiple vars with one event?
