Title: Macro Saver
Summary: Lets you save any building macros you make to use later.
Submitted By: Ephialtes
Date Submitted: Sun Aug 23, 2009 3:35 pm
Description: The Macro Saver allows you to save, load and delete macros that you create. Just configure the control to toggle the window in your Controls (under Recording) and then macro away.

When you begin a macro, the bricks you have will be stored with the macro so when you load it later, you'll have those bricks still.

On a more interesting note, some of you may know that the reason I delayed porting the macro saver was because I was going to make a new one - I couldn't be bothered, Oops.

@Niels567 The macros are saved at:
Blockland\Config\Client\macros

@Teaqu That's normal. If you use BuildBot, that's the reason it doesn't let you turn.
yeah I'm really late.

It's very useful, especially when using Image2Brick for pixel art. (Fuck me, I'm a noob at that.) But I have a problem with it. I can't seem to find the location where it saves macros, and I've made a "macros" folder in my game directory, and false game paths with a macro folder in my documents folder and my program files folder. Help?

5/5

After trying Buildbot - this clearly deserves a 5/5 rating!
Now i do have only 1 complaint about this:

Lets say you build facing north, and you make a big build, you build slowly, and you finish and save it.

If you then turn east, west, or south, then place the ghostbrick and initiate the build-protocol-thingy, then it will either do the following:
Miss a rotation or
Shift the bricks to either east or west. causing miss-placement

I don't know whats going on, as it makes no sense at all.

This is nice for people who have mastered Macro Savers. But, Buildbot is WAY better. You no longer need to have all the bricks you used in your inventory. This just picks the bricks from the database. Not to mention the you can load ANY saved file into it. The only problem it shares with Macro Saver is, that you need to stand in the same direction as when you saved it, which is no real problem.

Thanks so much. And for those who dont know, Macro is when you record your bricks to play back and have it build itself.
