IMO You should make the generic sound a bit higher pitched to be easier on the ears.

Wonderful! Just Wonderful! It would be nice if the sound got quieter if the player walked, and the airduct sound plays very faintly when the player is crouching. It should also be able to work on slopes, aswel.

4/5!

Its one of the coolest mods I've ever seen but my only problem is that when you walk (Using "c") it doesnt make a sound.

@Dark Rundas yeah because when you walk with whatever key your walk is binded to, there is no noise, and if you walk normally, there is a noise.

Sorta like Splinter Cell

Am I seriously gonna have to update the description on how to use this?
You don't need to use OnActivate. Any activation event will work.

I'm not going to color code it.

@ MrNoBody
cool add-on but it really is a major pain in the ass to name every single fucking brick to have a "on activate - name of the bricks- set materials - whatever" could it be like in your video where by default green bricks would make grass sounds and ect. but you could still modify them?

@TheLeaderOfTheRebels

You are literally the first person to ever complain about the sounds themselves over the year and a half I hosted and tested this.
Good job, you should feel special...

@theEthanlord
Gmod runs on Half-Life/HL2's engine.
Also, some of them are from Minecraft.

@MrNobody
They don't really fit Blockland's style IMO, and sometimes you just don't have the right sound.

@TheLeaderOfTheRebels

So you don't like Half Life or Minecraft?
Cause that's where the sounds come from..

@MrNoBody This mod seems more like a test than anything. This isn't even an option, frankly. Even attempting to integrate this mod is like building the whole damn thing twice.

@Counter Port stated on the forums topic that's hes not going to update it. If you want to edit the mod, you can. As it is now, it's functional. Be happy you even have this option. Ive held this mod for a year to test it and never had a "hassle" with it.

@MrNoBody Ok, then instead I'll just apply a name to every single brick in my server. No problem. And If I wanted contextual sound effects, I need to do even more, so I can't simply use "onbrickloaded". Still a gigantic hassle.

It would be nice if it just auto detected what kinda print the brick you were steping on had, then play the sound that way

I recommend using Lugnut's OnBrickLoaded event with this, it's a lot better than manually changing every brick, or using an input>namedbrick system, because that is laggy.

Love this 10/10

@Counter
OnActivate > NamedBrick [Wood] > SetMaterial [Wood]
Mass activation with just named bricks.

Why does nobody think about that?
It works with any activation event, not JUST OnActivate

Endless copy-pasting and clicking just to give your build a decent sound-scape.

Cool idea, horribly executed.
