What Emo Is Not:
Emo is not short for emotional, nor is it a fashion. It isn't a culture, it's a horrible way of life!
Emos usually are emo because of great trauma in their life, being raped by their parents for instance. Even being beat bu your father or something of the sort can make you emo. Emos cut so they can feel physical pain as a dampener of the mental pain. It's a way of escaping, like drugs and alcohol.
