Title: Chase Cam
Summary: Follow yourself, at any distance!
Submitted By: Gadgethm
Date Submitted: Wed Aug 26, 2009 3:05 am
Description: Ever had a desire to be the cameraman? Well now you can! With this new mod, you can follow your player at any distance, yet still keep control! Simply bind a key to this fantastic GUI, type in a number, and off you go! Why worry about your flying abilities when you can just pop in a number and get better results!*

The number 50 is equal to about half a second (however, this depends on the server's ping)

*results may vary

Ok, for those of you who don't want the advertisement version, here's a rundown: Basically, I just added a GUI to the console command gameConnection.chaseCam(number here); I also added safeties that keep you from going over 1000 and under 0 because those numbers can make Blockland crash. It is entirely client sided and will work on any server. This is my first RELEASED addon, so I would appreciate feedback. Thanks!

UPDATE/CHANGELOG: Added a few things. Cleaned up code based on last add-on review. Added a toggle ability instead of just open. Added the ability to press enter instead of the button, no need to move your mouse.

Very nice. Good for movies, such as following yourself but having it have a delay. Great job!

@kool kat

I don't see why the fuck you would need pictures. You shouldn't need pictures if the description clearly states what it does.

@elmo all this does is just make your camera veiw follow your player at # distance. It can't record. Ontopic: Epic, but might be used to fuck up some players (Such as the FPS player).

@darerd

if it does that then you probably have other addons interfering with it, or else it really does have a problem. im sorry if its not working for you, that happens often. i get frustrated often with mods too.

This doesnt work for me. All it does is make the camera follow my past, by however many millisecons I put in. It doesnt just revert to normal view when the amount of time I put in is over. FUCK YOU!!!

Oh wow, some of you people dont even know what this does, do you, its NOT F8. It lags your 3rd person camera behind your character to give it a cool effect.
