Title: Best Colorset
Summary: A 63 color colorset that does everything.
Submitted By: Chrono
Date Submitted: Thu Aug 11, 2011 8:23 pm
Description: Standard includes 9 glorious colors, and makes no room for any of those silly grayscale transes. They just don't belong with this wide range of color.
A standard column would feel pretty lonely without bright, dark, and transparent columns to go with it. No messing around.
I never understood why you would ever need 20 grayscale colors. 6 is a wonderful number, and I'm sure Badspot and his default colorset would agree. Paired up with 3 additional 70% trans grayscales at the end of the column.
The browns, the one part the defaults fail to include. One brown is never enough, we need 6. There are another 3 transparent grayscales at the end of the browns. The same shade as the other 3, but now 35% transparent, for another level of grayscale transparency. (more transparent windows or something)

The specials will deliver what you're missing.
Gold.
Slate Gray. (a kind of blueish gray)
Bronze.
Peach.
A mostly (80%) pure green, in case you mostly (80%) miss the old standard green.
Crimson red.
The best sky blue transparent you could ever wish for when it comes to water bricks.
A brown transparent for those muddy waters.
And most importantly, moccasin. It wouldn't be a colorset without moccasin.

Don't miss out. Get this colorset and be set for life.

Make the fifth green in Standards column darker. In real life, grass doesn't really have that color.

Redoing the colorset right now. Looking a lot nicer. Especially for greens.
Also removing some unnecessary specials like silver, and moving some of them to replace the darks. Of course, this means some new specials, like a trans brown as requested. Moccasin, gold, and bronze are here to stay in the specials with all their new friends.

Expect an update in an hour or so, or whenever Ephi approves.

Perhaps the name is a little optimistic, but a nice colorset all the same.

Epic, you get my download! It might be smaller than Truenos' Special, but a whole lot better.

Would prefer this for the standard and ore colors, would prefer Treno's for the browns and the greyscale.

Of course, BlackDragonIV, whatever, don't mind this kid TBH, he was trolling on my brickpacks too. Anyway, This is a decent color pack, but I would still choose Truenos over it, sorry bro. 3/5

Sure it has a lot of colors but does it have FX? Hmm?

Maybe FX aren't needed in everything, but I like FX. (Did I mention FX?)

Color variation is decent. I especially like those more abstract, dark colors.
