I would download it if you removed the annoying color splash thing, but sadly it's the only thing that does anything, so... Worthless mod to me, never downlaoding it, but it might be handy for some of you other people who like jacking colors into eachother's faces or something. LSS, not my mod. 4/5

Ack is an abbreviation for "Acknowlegment".
It let's the client acknowledge that they have the add-on.

I don't know what to say about Xanderians comment or its reply.
But, I will say that I believe I got most of the downloads after update three, so I think there's at least ~150 unique downloads, hopefually today if I can be arsed to host, I can get another 50 to 100.

also, he updates this regularly to try adding the things he put in the FAQs. Thus v3 is out already. only yesturday was it posted.

here is a quick timeline because some people(you) who dont pay close attention the newsFeed section of the modmanager.

1: He posted to RTB yesterday
2: 200 people downloaded it that day
3: He came up with stats

I don't understand where you're getting these stats from. Two hundred downloads a day? It's version three and you've only got two hundred seven.

2. I don't care about fame, or recognition, I just want to improve the community.
3. You're resoning makes no sense, people aren't going to refuse to download something simply because of a script on my server.



If this mod gets popular, it's good for all of blockland, you see.

I read that as more of a terrorist-esque scare tactic. "If you don't download this, you can't join my server, or anyone else running it." This indicates complete bias and is just a tool for getting downloads, which is probably why you've got so little downloads in the first place--no offense.

It's required at my server because I need to encourage people to get it.
Eventually once many people have the add-on, server owners and mod makers will be able to do many more things to clients.

It's not like it actually required to play on your server, you just kick everyone who doesn't have it simply because they don't have it.

My point is I don't see a use for it, and evidently not many other people do either. I'm not sure where to take it from there, other than that this is scripted pretty well.

How many people download it has nothing to do with how much it does.

Only because you're updating it. It's at v3 with one hundred fifty downoaders more or less, which is equal to about fifty unique downloads. I just don't see much of a threat by not downloading this.

Im confused...Is this a reference tool for modders or something and can I it be used as so? Say I want to create a scope effect without having to use a real scope on the model is that what this kind of thing is for?

There are servers that will kick you if you don't have it.
